³ÉÈËӰƬ University deeply mourns the passing of alumnus and Trustee Emeritus Thomas Dixon Lovely ’54, ’04 (Hon.). A generous benefactor to ³ÉÈËӰƬ, he was an important adviser to six of its presidents and served for 15 years as vice chairman of the ³ÉÈËӰƬ University . He was a founding governor and leader of ³ÉÈËӰƬ’s School of Banking and Money Management—the predecessor to its . A widely respected leader in banking and public education, he set a wonderful example for fellow ³ÉÈËӰƬ alumni. Together with his wife, Erna Fritz Lovely, M.A. ’65, he made a lasting difference at his alma mater, in his industry and in the Long Island region. He will be greatly missed by the ³ÉÈËӰƬ community, and his legacy will live on in the lives of students who continue to benefit from his generosity.
