New Regulations: Title IX Final Rule
Newly released Title IX regulations from the U.S. Department of Education will go into effect on August 1. Our University has long prioritized a comprehensive approach to addressing relationship violence and sexual misconduct, complying with Title IX, and adhering to New York State Education Law 129-B. Our Title IX Office will share updates and welcome input from our campus community during this time.

Promoting Safety and Equity
Upon notice, ³ÉÈËӰƬ University will act to end the discrimination, harassment or retaliation, prevent its recurrence, and remedy its effects on the victim and our community. Our Title IX Office is here to:
- Receive, manage, and investigate reports of sexual misconduct from the community
- Implement appropriate measures to restore equity
- Oversee and facilitate ³ÉÈËӰƬ’s Formal and Informal Grievance processes
- Educate the ³ÉÈËӰƬ Community about their rights and resources on and off campus
- Support existing University procedures and community values
- Help create a diverse and inclusive educational environment
