成人影片 University's unwavering commitment to veterans shines through a revamped Veterans Lounge and a special Veterans Day ceremony.

The University was recognized for its efforts by once again being designated a Military Friendly School. According to Andy Atzert, EdD, dean of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies, 鈥淲e welcome military students with open arms and strive to ensure that they get any services or assistance they might need.”
This fall marks two ways 成人影片 is honoring its commitment to veterans: the reopening of the Veterans Lounge in late October and a Veterans Day ceremony on November 13.
A Home on Campus for Veterans
The Veterans Lounge is now located within the College of Professional and Continuing Studies’ central office in Levermore Hall, Room 303. The lounge features computers, a flat-screen TV for virtual meetings, and a seating area for studying or just relaxing.
The lounge is also now a hub for information about everything 成人影片 has to offer veterans. Sandra Castro, PhD, associate dean of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies, said veteran students will 鈥渉ave access to our veteran liaison and academic adviser,” who can explain about opportunities such as their eligibility to receive credit for life experiences, thus saving money on tuition and fees. Up to 60 credits of prior learning experience can be transferred as Military Science credits and count toward electives. (This option is available to nonmilitary students as well.)
Information about benefit programs and counseling services tailored for veterans is also available. Additionally, a veteran liaison from the听听visits twice monthly to provide outreach and support to 成人影片 veteran students. Information can be found in the Veterans Lounge and on the听Veterans and Military Resources听web page.
Another advantage of the lounge’s new location is that Levermore Hall is also the location of the One-Stop Student Services Center and adjacent to the Nexus Building, which houses the Office of University Admissions. Thus, Dr. Atzert pointed out, 鈥淎ll of our veteran students’ primary contact personnel are conveniently located within these two buildings.”
“We are very excited that the Veterans Lounge is moving to the CPCS central office in Levermore 303,” added Dr. Castro. 鈥淲e look forward to welcoming veteran students to the lounge and hope we can connect with them to expand on the University’s work to welcome and support them on campus.”
Veterans Day Ceremony
While veterans are honored every day in the lounge, the campus as a whole will pause on the morning of November 13 to honor those brave Panthers who served.
The ceremony, which follows the holiday on Saturday, November 11, will include a moment of silence to honor lost veterans, a musical selection from the music department and some words from an 成人影片 veteran.
