Dear 成人影片 Community,

I am happy to report that the prevalence of COVID-19 in our community and surrounding regions remains low. As we look forward to the end of the spring semester and Commencement, I鈥檇 like to update you on changes to 成人影片鈥檚 COVID-19 mitigation policies for Summer 2023 and beyond.

First, thank you for your support and care as we continue to make the safety and wellbeing of our community members the highest priority at 成人影片. While we strongly encourage all 成人影片 community members to continue following the CDC’s vaccine guidance, the University will no longer require students, faculty, and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.聽Note: Most clinical and practicum environments will continue to require proof of vaccination and may require additional immunization and/or masking requirements. Please contact your specific clinical program for further information.

We will continue to base our plans and policies on the most current scientific data and all New York state and local public health requirements regarding COVID-19. Additionally, our Health and Wellness team will continue to monitor new variants, community transmission levels, vaccine recommendations, and all official guidance for ongoing refinement of our mitigation strategy.

The below updates and mitigation efforts regarding COVID-19 policies and protocols are effective May 11, 2023,聽at all 成人影片 locations:

  • Revised COVID Vaccine Policy:聽Initial series and boosters are recommended for all students and employees in accordance with CDC guidance.
  • Sunsetting of COVID Hotline: Concerns, questions, and consultations will transition to the Health Services Center, reachable at 516.877.6002 or healthandwellness@adelphi.edu.
  • Campus Signage:聽Updates will be made to campuswide signage and messaging about distancing, hygiene practices, and self-screening for symptoms of illness.
  • Continued Collaboration:聽Communicable disease surveillance efforts in collaboration with the Nassau County Department of Health will continue.
  • Vaccination Programs:聽成人影片 University’s Health Services Center continues to provide on-campus vaccination for COVID-19 and influenza for all our community members.
  • Health Services:聽Students should continue accessing our Health Services Center for routine examinations, consultations and education.
  • Isolation Options:聽We will maintain an allotment of on-campus residence isolation rooms.

As a reminder, if you feel sick or are exposed to or test positive for COVID-19, you are advised to stay home, follow recommended healthcare protocols, and contact the 成人影片 Health Services Center at 516.877.6000 or聽healthservicescenter@adelphi.edu.
