³ÉÈËӰƬ

Our counselors are here to provide you with comprehensive support during your transition to college.

Moving from high school to college raises many challenges, not all of them related to coursework. In the ³ÉÈËӰƬ Plus Learning Community, you’ll have regular meetings with a dedicated, highly trained counselor to talk about your experience at ³ÉÈËӰƬ and any personal concerns. Your counselor can provide helpful insights into the challenges and opportunities you may encounter as a first-year college student, and can help you make the most out of your college experience.

³ÉÈËӰƬ Plus counselors meet individually with students on a regular basis. As licensed mental health professionals, they:Ìý

  • Provide students with a safe, confidential environment for discussing personal concernsÌý
  • Provide insight into social and emotional issues that can arise during the transition from high school to collegeÌý
  • Introduce opportunities that help students make the most of University life

Counseling was so vital to my mental health and kept me motivated. It gave me a safe place to talk about all things, where I wouldn’t be judged. I used it throughout college—and I still email my counselor.
